teeth in a day

Houston Prosthodontic Associates has good news if you’re at all nervous about seeking the dental care you deserve. We’re here with the solutions you need to help you chew, speak, and smile with confidence again. We’re proud to use the latest dental technology to offer a quick solution for patients with few to no natural teeth left. If this describes you, it might be time for an appointment in our Houston, TX, office to consider the All-on-4 dental implants for new teeth in a single day!

How can i get a new Teeth in a day?

To give you a full new smile in just a day, we use a prosthodontic treatment called All-on-4 dental implants. All-on-4 implants replace your missing teeth with a full dental bridge. This permanent bridge holds custom-fabricated false teeth to replace your missing natural teeth.

On the surface, the procedure seems similar to full dentures. This is not the case. All-on-4 implants are supported by just four dental implants, instead of a removable denture set that needs to be frequently adjusted and cleaned or individual implants that require one complete implant per replaced tooth.

How all-on 4 implants work?

Enjoy enhanced quality of life by calling Houston Prosthodontic Associates today. Dr. Gittleman will perform a single, minor surgery to insert four titanium screws into your jawbone. These titanium implants serve as the anchor for as many replacement teeth as you need.

While the implants are being placed, our team will create a custom bridge with replacement teeth to attach to the implants. This gives you a complete smile immediately, and you won’t have to undergo the implantation of a separate screw for each missing tooth. After receiving our All-on-4 implants, your quality of life will be improved, and you can start enjoying your favorite foods again!

Who is a good candidate for new teeth in a day?

Dental patients who have lost most of their natural teeth due to injury or disease can choose All-on-4 implants as an alternative to traditional dentures. In our office, we’ll start with a short consultation visit and use digital imaging technology to evaluate if your teeth, jaw, and gums make you a good candidate for dental implants.

Planning for your all-on-4 dental implant procedure and recovery

After your initial consultation, you’ll schedule the minor surgical All-on-4 procedure on a convenient day. Using mild sedation or local anesthetic so you don’t feel pain or boredom during treatment, Dr. Gittleman will place all four dental implants at once. Typically, after placement, we provide temporary same-day crowns to immediately restore your teeth following the surgery. You’ll be able to eat and speak normally right away.

For a few days after surgery, avoid rinsing, spitting, or anything that might aggravate the incisions for faster healing. For the first 24 hours, drink plenty of water and use an ice pack on your cheek for 15 minutes at a time to reduce swelling. Follow instructions from our team about gently brushing or rinsing as your incisions begin to heal.

While you continue to recover, we’ll create a permanent bridge of individually shaped and colored replacement teeth at on on-site laboratory. When it’s complete a few weeks later and your jaw is fully healed, you can return to our office for one last quick visit where we’ll remove the temporary crowns and attach your permanent bridge to the same implants.
