Full or Partial Dentures

Houston Dentures

Not too long ago, dentures were considered purely cosmetic. People actually took their dentures out prior to eating a meal. Fortunately, modern dentures are designed to withstand chewing pressures, in addition to looking natural and restoring speech. Dr. Gittleman designs precision partials and dentures, and our in-office technicians expertly fabricate the prosthetic from high-quality materials.

What is a precision partial or denture?

If you've worn a denture or partial in the past, then you recognize the importance of a proper fit. Dr. Gittleman takes exact measurements and impressions, so he can design a denture that feels natural. His attention to detail, combined with over 25 years of experience and an in-house dental laboratory, yield exceptional results for our patients.

Dentures vs. Partials

A full denture replaces all of the teeth in the mouth, whereas a partial denture replaces missing teeth scattered throughout a smile. Dentures can be secured with natural suction, and partials often have unobtrusive clips or clasps that lock them in place. Dr. Gittleman may also recommend implant-supported dentures or partials, which typically cannot be removed by the patient. Implant-supported dentures or partials eliminate the potential for slippage and stimulate jaw-bone growth.

Dear Dr. Gittleman, I should have sent this along ago but struggled with trying to find the words that truly conveyed my gratitude. I don't know if you have any idea what you have done for me – maybe you do; but you have given me several gifts… a lot more confidence, through the roof comfort and a cost that was affordable for us. I'm able to eat, laugh, talk and even travel now without worrying that my prosthesis is going to shift or move or click – for the first time in almost 4 years! And because it doesn't move or shift, there is no more pain. Before the implants, I had constant discomfort, mouth sores and difficulty eating. I know it's only been a little over a month, but it's been fabulous so far! You and your staff were wonderful and completely professional. I will never be able to return the kindness – but if I know anyone who is considering implants I will send them your way – you are simply the Best!
