Sylvia, Prosthodontic Consultant
Born and raised in Texas, Sylvia has 35 years of continuing dental education under her belt. She’s helped Dr. Gittleman’s dental implant and cosmetic prosthodontic patients better understand details of their treatment since 1998. With experience, compassion, and empathy, she gives our patients the resources they need to achieve their dental needs. Sylvia spends her time away from the office traveling to distant locations and/or curling up with a good book.
Blanca, Patient Coordinator and Prosthodontic Assistant
Blanca’s sweet smile will be one of the first to greet you when you enter our office. A lifetime Houston local, Blanca has been a dental receptionist and prosthodontic assistant with our practice since 2001. She’s dedicated to making appointments convenient and educating our patients on the details of treatment. An integral of Dr. Gittleman’s staff, Blanca is always happy to answer questions and help with your scheduling needs.
Alma, Prosthodontic Assistant
Alma has 11 years of experience providing our patients with excellent dental care. A Houston resident, she appreciates the opportunity to connect with her friendly patients and values working in an environment of mutual respect. Always warm and gracious, Alma is dedicated to every patient’s life-long dental health and is proud to see each dazzling smile. Outside of the practice, Alma cherishes quality time with her children.
Tiffany, Prosthodontic Assistant
A self-described people person, Tiffany truly enjoys watching each patient reach his or her dental goals, and her outgoing personality encourages our patients to show off their healthy grins! Tiffany has been with our team since 2009, and she approaches each day as a new learning experience. Originally from New Orleans, she enjoys reading and shopping in her spare time.
Tanja, Prosthodontic Laboratory Technician
Tanja’s skills in crafting dental prosthetics make her an invaluable asset to our patients and practice. Earning her degree in Dental Lab Technology from Texas State Technical College, Tanja has almost eight years of total experience and has worked with Dr. Gittleman since 2004. Her genuine compassion and attention to detail bring an advanced level of care.
Walter, Laboratory Technician
Walter sincerely loves what he does, and it shows. After 14 years of experience as a laboratory technician, he remains eager to learn new techniques that advance patient care. Walter joined Dr. Gittleman’s team in 2006 and is pleased to be a part of our caring and cohesive team. A Houstonian since birth, Walter likes to stay active through sports such as soccer and football, but his true passion is spending time with his beautiful children.
Sondra, Registered Dental Hygienist
As our hygienist, Sondra maintains optimal oral hygiene for our patients. She’s also skilled in preventing common issues like tooth decay and gum disease from ravaging smiles. A native to Houston, Sondra began working with Dr. Gittleman in 1986, and her experience spans 30 plus years. Sondra maintains an active lifestyle, both physically and mentally. She holds a bachelor’s degree in science, and she loves to read and work out.
Dyani, Receptionist
Keeping the front desk organized and running smoothly is no small task in our bustling practice, but Dyani manages the front office with ease. Her friendly face and courteous demeanor welcome each patient, making certain that your first impression of our team will be a positive one. Dyani joined our team in 2009, and she is currently attending college.
Kassidy, Prosthodontic Assistant
Kassidy joined our team in 2010, and she’s proven a fast learner. A native Texan, her can-do attitude and outgoing personality help put patients at ease and maintain a relaxed atmosphere. When she’s not managing appointments or keeping the office organized, Kassidy enjoys painting, writing, and exercising. She has two brothers and currently lives at home with her mom and dad.

Houston Prosthodontic Associates is currently accepting new patients, and appointments can be made online, by phone, or by email. Dr. Gittleman and our team serve patients from Houston, River Oaks, Spring Branch, Tanglewood, Sugarland, Katy, the Houston Galleria Area, and across the globe.
