The Consequences of Bone Loss
Our Main Concern is the Loss of Bone.

When teeth are lost there is no need for bone to remain; hence, the remaining bone melts away like "ice in the sunshine".

When function is restored through the use of dental implants, bone levels generally remain constant, while in some instances bone levels may actually increase.
